Richard Sherman founded Sherman Plumbing Inc.

1995

Richard handed off leadership of the company to his son, Scott Sherman.

2000-2020

Sherman Plumbing expanded services across the Omaha metro area and introduced modern diagnostic tools.

2025

Scott and his son, Max Sherman, rebrand the company to “SPI Plumbing” and set their sights on the future.

Master Plumber & Third-Generation Owner

Scott has been in the trade since 1990 and earned his Master Plumber license in 1998. He took over Sherman Plumbing from his father in the late 1990s and built a reputation for reliability and precision — earning the distinction of being the highest-rated plumber on HomeAdvisor for over five years. When he's not troubleshooting a mechanical room or mentoring the team, you'll find Scott fishing, tending to his chickens, or working on projects around his acreage.

max sherman

Licensed Plumber & Fourth-Generation Tradesman

Max joined the family business in 2015 and has quickly become one of our go-to experts for piping systems and complex troubleshooting. As the fourth generation to carry on the Sherman trade, he brings fresh energy and a deep technical skillset to every job. Outside of work, Max is an avid outdoorsman who loves exploring the country — always looking for the next trail, campsite, or road trip.
